If you sense God leading you to start a ministry on your campus, we want to help. You don't have to do this alone. The very best way we can help you is to provide a coach for you. What's in your heart? 

Do you desire for others to have a personal relationship with God? Do you desire to help followers of Jesus grow in their faith and reach others with the Gospel? Do you desire to make a difference for God with your whole life? If so, God has put these desires on your heart. Who is God giving you a heart to reach? Maybe it’s people right around you in your residence hall, major, or friend group. He could also be leading you to a new place. Maybe it’s a campus you don’t attend, an ethnic group different from your own, or a segment of campus you are not part of. When you think about these people who don’t know Christ, what are your desires for them? What are God’s desires for them? God can work through you to bring the truth of Jesus to those who don’t yet know Him. You don’t need a spiritual degree or an official title.

All you need is a willing heart that loves and trusts God as He invites you into His eternal work. God wants to use you! god is love god is calling you

Our goal in Jesus Outreach Center Christian Community is to launch movements everywhere until everyone knows someone who truly follows Jesus. You have the opportunity to be that “someone” who truly follows Jesus and has an eternal impact on those around you.  What do you think a movement is? There is a great picture of a movement found in Acts 2:42-47

 We build Movements:

Jesus states in Matthew 28:19-20. "make disciples of all the nations"   

• by praying with hearts of dependence upon God,
• by helping others encounter Jesus through the gospel,
• by building them up to become mature followers of Jesus who know God’s Word,
• and by sending those followers of Jesus out to the world to help others encounter Jesus and build them to maturity. Simply put, we build movements by praying, winning, building, and sending. As we proceed, we will develop each of those in more detail.

When you think about being a leader, what comes to mind? A simple definition of a leader is, “a person followed by others.” 

The Bible speaks of different ways in which God wants us to lead.
Jesus stated; 

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Matthew 28:19
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”  Acts 1:8
and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. 2 Timothy 2:2

 
There are a lot of common myths about leadership.

• It’s only for certain people.
• Someone has to ask me to be a leader and give me a title.
• I have to have certain skills first.
• Leaders have to know all the answers.

If those things aren’t true about leadership, then what is?

• God calls all who know Jesus to lead by making disciples.
• Leaders are first and foremost growing in their own relationship with God.
• Everyone has a first time leading and every leader, even experienced ones, make mistakes.
• Leaders get to say, “I don’t know.”
• Each person will lead differently because God has gifted us with unique personality and skills.

We aren’t asking you to do this alone. We are by your side. To help You, that's why we are here. There is a Jesus Outreach Center member ready and able to help you get started with your ministry. We are here to help you start whether it is  a University-Ministry,  a  College-Ministry or a Varsity-Ministry.  We are here to help and assist with sharing Jesus Christ in the manner you are attempting to develop.  We will help support your direction for spreading the Gospel within ministry that we Support, Help us developed all our various ministries.  Please review the Ministries supported list and become a Ministry Partner, It's just that simple. We want to get to know you and learn what God has done to bring you to this point. And we can answer any questions you might have. When we hear that you are are trusting God, we can begin to share specific resources to help you grow in your leadership and take steps in assisting you in the correct direction, praying, winning, building, and sending others to you so you can direct them to Jesus Christ. Jesus, The King of all Kings. The Lord of all Lords.

You have questions, We have answers.

“Taking the initiative in the power of the Holy Spirit and leaving the results to God.”  This applies to launching and leading movements. Our job is to take the initiative. God gets to do whatever He wants with our steps of faith. That takes the pressure off us. We take the initiative by talking to Him about His mission. We leave the results to God by believing that He is the only one who can change hearts. Both of these happen in prayer. 

Prayer Changes Things.

We pray:

• That the God who can bring people from death to life will do so among those we are trying to reach.
• That the God who is our strength will give us boldness to share the gospel and invite others into His mission.
• That the God who has called you into His family would put other laborers alongside you in this vision.

If God wants every person to hear about Jesus and if He has invited every believer to be a part of that goal, then it makes sense that He would love to hear and answer our prayers toward that end. Prayer also gives us a chance to humble ourselves before God. It keeps us from relying on our own plans or skills and reminds us that only God can build His kingdom. How about setting aside some times of prayer each week and keeping your heart open to how God will begin to work in response to your pleas. What specific requests do you want to begin praying for? Who could you invite to pray alongside you?
